Award to Arvada Boy Scout Troop 21 Kent Cottingham, scoutmaster of Arvada Boy Scout Troop 21, receives a certificate and check from Dan Hershberger in appreciation for the help given by Troop 21 in loading flowers for distribution to area nursing homes following the annual Colorado Garden and Home Show. This distribution of flowers (known as "flower power") brings a bit of cheer to nursing home residents, and is a yearly service project of Arvada Rotary and other service clubs. |
Remembering Jerry Jelinek It is with sadness that the Club announces the passing of Jerry Jelinek. Jerry was a long time member whose optimism and passion for promoting and assisting the educational opportunities of the area's youth will be missed.

Open House on Wednesday, April 22nd The Members of the Arvada Rotary Club cordially invite the public to join us for an informal Open House on Wednesday April 22. Guests may drop in at their convenience (Indian Tree Golf Course clubhouse, 7555 Wadsworth Blvd.) between 6:00 and 8:00 pm to chat with members, learn about our service projects and social activities, sample the hors d' oeuvres, and enjoy a bit of down time. Guests are encouraged to bring literature about their businesses and drop their business cards into the fish bowl to qualify for a drawing. Several prizes will be awarded.

eClub One annual dinnereGads! Rotary eClub One located in Oklahoma is having its annual dinner in Boulder this year.
They have members traveling from all over the country as well as overseas to attend their Back to Boulder Dinner and they hope that many Rotary clubs in Colorado can send representatives to meet their visitors.
The dinner will be held in Boulder on Wednesday, April 29th at the Boulderado Hotel. Their club is hoping we can send a couple of members to the dinner.
