Friday, September 11 – Service Project with JeffCo Open Space on the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 Remembrance Day. Jeffco Open Space trail clean-up near the Arvada Reservoir and Highway 93.  More volunteers needed to support this effort.  Register for the clean-up and view event details.

Tuesday, September 15 - Help Pomona Seniors Turn Potential into Paychecks.  Pomona High School is seeking business leaders, community partners, and professionals from all industries to participate in our 12th Grade Work-Based Learning Day.  Participate to help seniors practice their professional interviewing and networking skills through engaging, 45-minute rounds. No prior experience is required and questions and instructions are provided.  Your time, stories, and honest feedback can be the difference between a missed opportunity and a young person landing that first job. Time Commitment: Flexible shifts available for Morning (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) or Afternoon (12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.) Where: Pomona High School.  To register or have questions?
