The February, 2008 Colorado Garden and Home Show was the twelfth year of "flower power."  Following the show, the flowers used to create the gardens are removed, boxed, and distributed to by Rotarians to care centers, retirement communities, and nursing homes along the Front Range.  Normally 5000 to 7000 plants are distributed.

This was the brain-child of Bill Edwards, an active member of Arvada Rotary.  Rex Stuck is the coordinator for the project.  Many Rotary Clubs pick up the flowers and distribute them in their areas.

Many senior citizens receive a gift of flowers.
